UK born, LA based ceramic designer, Hannah recently emailed to let me know about her new collection, The Jewellery Collection. Inspired by all things fashion, all designs are handmade in the UK from beautiful English bone china. To see more of her work, click here. 
This store is designed by local interior architects Rodney Eggleston and Anne-Laure Cavigneaux of March Studios. The entire store interior, from the display shelving, to the façade and counter tops is made entirely of industrial-grade cardboard.

Now this will make a lovely home for all you cat lovers out there. There is something very appealing to me about curling up in a cocoon like this and perhaps even rolling around in it. These pods are constructed out of 83 layers of laser-cut double wall corrugated cardboard and include bored holes for your kitties to stick their little paws into and do their scratching thing.

This is a brilliant project by Bruno Taylor entitled "Playful Spaces". It is a study into different ways of bringing play back into public space and asks us to question the current framework for public space. (via woostercollective)

This simple but beautiful idea will allow one to create an inspiration or notice board using decorative paper and a few clipboards. Simply cut the paper to the clipboard size, glue onto the board using decoupage glue and viola! My favourite idea of the day.

The aquatic complex Les Bains des Docks designed by the 2008 Prtizker-prize winning architect Jean Nouvel has just opened in the historical Port of Le Havre. The design is inspired by the Roman thermal baths. From the pictures and video, the complex has the most beautiful play of natural light and labyrinth spaces. Looking at this inspiring building sure reminds me of what made me love architecture in the first place.
The builidng is primarily white, allowing the flowing water curtains to create different hues along the different textured surfaces. For more pictures, click here. 
I found out about Arte Luise KunstHotel, located near Mitte(Berlin) via Copenhagan Collage today. Each room is uniquely designed by a different renown artist and concept. How cool is the view of the hotel as seen from outside! What an amazing elevation!
