RESERVED! Finding a home for 3 old school metal lockers

I am helping to find a home for 3 pre-loved old school metal lockers. Each locker comes with a set of keys. Unfortunately, a few keys are missing so you would need to get a locksmith to help make a new key for some of the cabinets. Otherwise, the 3 locker cabinets are in good condition.

If you are living in Singapore and are interested in inheriting these lockers, please email me at ztansl@gmail.com.

These lockers have found a new home. Thanks to all who emailed! x

Wishing everyone Happy Holidays!

Hope everyone had a good time with family and friends over Christmas. I was so busy tending to last minute gift orders from the online shop that I didn't get the chance to wish everyone a very 'Merry Christmas' earlier this week.

Anyway, I just wanted to take the opportunity this special time of the year to say that it has been such a joy getting to know so many of you through this blog. I am truely thankful for your warm friendship. Even though I have not been able to post as often as I would like to in recent months since the birth of my second child, knowing that you are still visiting keeps me motivated and inspired in more ways than you can imagine. Thank you so much for your support.

I will be signing off to spend more time with family and friends for the rest of the year but will be returning on Jan 5. Meanwhile, here's wishing everyone Happy Holidays and all the very best for 2009! Here is a little festive dance from my family to yours.

Nadya Vitalyevna Zagorodnova

I have not been able to blog as much as I would like to over the past week as our family just welcomed a little bundle of joy over the weekend.

With praise and thanksgiving to God, Nadya Vitalyevna Zagorodnova was born on October 11, weighing a hefty 4.535kg (or a perfect 10 lbs to be exact). Apart from the lack of sleep and endless feeding over the past few days, our family is overjoyed!

Do bear with me if I don't manage to keep up with my regular posts at laissezfaire over the next week or so as we adjust to the new addition in our family. I promise I will be back soon! I will also be blogging more about my second journey into motherhood and other baby-related discoveries at my other blog, Pupsik. Meanwhile, I better catch up with some sleep while I can! =))

To vote, simply send in a maximum of 5 choices from this list by 15th October 08 (click here to vote; you may need to disable your pop-up blocker for the voting form to show). Though not compulsory, it would be great if you would also briefly mention why you think the blogs which you've voted for are influential.

And to make things slightly more rewarding and exciting for voters this time, The Home Rejuvenation has also teamed up with international design purveyor Wallpaper* to reward 3 lucky voters (picked from random) each with a free 1-year subscription to the print magazine. The results of the poll and the winners will be announced in mid-October. I am so excited to see if this year's results will differ from last year.

For more details on the poll, click here! Thanks THR for organising this.

Calling for host for new Asian Interior Design show

Do you have a passion for Asian inspired interior design? Love travelling to exotic locales? Then this might interest you!

Moving Visuals, a respected Singapore production house, is coming up with a new international TV series comprising 10 episodes that will focus on Asian interior design. Apparently, this new show has already received tremedous interest from international broadcasters like Discovery Channel Travel and Living.

This new TV series is currently looking for a host for the programme. The person should have a background in architecture or interior design, speaks good English and is comfortable with the camera. He/she would also have to be based in Asia and will get to travel around the region for the shooting.

If you, or anyone you know, are interested in this position, please send your CV and recent photo to designer.flair@gmail.com.

Thanks Stan for letting us know about this.
