I stumbled upon Yvette's blog today and am mesmerised by the ephemeral quality of her work. Her gorgeous photographs are available to purchase at her etsy store. I am so tempted to buy every image in that store!

I found out about Anna Aden photography through Maquette today and fell in love instantly with the gorgeous soft hues of her images. My absolute favourites has got to be these images from her lily of the valley series. They are like straight out from the pages of a fairytale.

I simply love the ephemeral quality of these magnolias placed on insect illustrations by Kari Herer. I think Magnolia is now my favourite flower, after Peonies in white cream. Posted by laissezfaire 4 comments

Literally eye-candy project that photographer Thuss Farrell did for his book 'Lines and Shapes - vol2'.

I found out about the work of James Spicer today. A photographer and artist from Chicago, James's work often feature miniature scenes with imagery that evokes childhood memories and all the happiness and sadness that goes with them.Posted by laissezfaire 3 comments

The Convent (above). This is a Georgian House with River Views in West London. The period interior with the beautiful weathered walls comes with the wooden original staircase.
The Old Rectory - Oxon (above). Love the collaged walls in the bathroom here.
Eglinton. Love the high ceilings, light and simplicity of the deco in this Victorian House in South East London.Posted by laissezfaire 5 comments

I can't stop gasping at the images I found on this website! I really wish I could post every single image here!! Founded in 1996, Taverne Agency agents for photographers and sell features in the fields of interiors, food, entertainment and travel. A wonderful place to go to if you are looking for eye candy design inspiration for your home. (via House of Bliss)

I love these deceptively simple yet powerful photographs by Uta Barth. By photographing in ordinary, mundane and anonymous places, Barth's work questions the traditional role of pictures and our expectations of them. (via Hoping for Happy Accidents)
