Re-thinking the Identity of a British seaside town
Have been crazy busy for the past 3 months and so miss blogging. Thank you to those who still continued to visit this site and leave comments while I took a break from blogland. Am now back, refreshed, renewed, excited and ready to post more inspirational stuff I find, starting with this jolly eye-candy piece entitled "Re-thinking the Identity of a British seaside town". Absolutely love it!!

Wear Sunscreen!
"Don't feel guilty if you don't know what you want to do with your life. The most interesting people know didn't know at 22 what they wanted to do with their lives; some of the most interesting 40 year olds I know still don't.
Maybe you'll marry, maybe you won't. Maybe you'll have children, maybe you won't. Maybe you'll divorce at 40; maybe you'll dance the funky chicken on your 75th wedding anniversary. Whatever you do, don't congratulate yourself too much or berate yourself, either. Your choices are half chance, so are everybody else's.
Dance...even if you have no where to do it but in your own living room."
The rest of the lyrics to this song can be found here. Enjoy! Dance!

Domestic Vacations
The Dutch proverb “a Jan Steen household” originated in the 17th century and is used today to refer to a home in disarray, full of rowdy children and boisterous family gatherings. The paintings of Steen, along with those of other Dutch and Flemish genre painters, helped inspire Julie's work.Julie is the oldest of nine children and now the mother of three. The stress, the chaos, and the need to simultaneously escape and connect are issues that Julie explores in "Domestic Vacations".
