EL VAQUERO (THE COWBOY)
What a cool design for a chair! It is made from materials used in the building industry which are not very common in the furniture design. You can even change the look of it by changing the magazine you hang on the rail! Think this will be an excellent (but not that comfy) design for a bus-stop or carriage seat. By eosmexico. (via)

Zeitraum
Beautiful hardwood furniture made of wood by German brand Zeitraum. While other furniture companies are going after the lastest design trends, this company is just proud to produce quality furniture which are so simple, pure and intrinsicly beautiful that you can see why don't have to.

Kalon Studios
Via Designsponge, I learnt about Kalon Studios and their gorgeous line of bamboo furniture with botanical cravings. Based in both Berlin and Los Angeles, their entire collection is proudly made from green and sustainable materials that are apparently so non-toxic that it is food grade!

Squint
Eversince former painter Lisa Whatmough launched her label Squint two years ago, her antique-style sofas, armchairs and lamps covered in gorgeously clashing recycled fabrics have been a huge runway success. I just adore the old pattern fabrics and furniture she puts together. She even does fabric-covered teapots that are washable, but for occasional use.Two words. Gorgeous gorgeous!

Deco Boco
I just found out about this super-cool Japanese website called deco boco which offers a selection of used and new designer furniture and lifestyle goods. The site may seem a little incomprehensible at first because of the Japanese text and odd layout. But with a little patience, you will soon find or be inspired by a few quirky treasures. There is even a section dedicated to Eames items!

Chairfix by Ben Wilson
Inspired by self-assembly model airplane kits, Ben Wilson's Chairfix rethinks the conventional mode of producing, packaging, transporting and assembling a chair. The chair is produced by a straightforward application of cutting into a flat plywood sheet. The chair is delivered flat and easily assembled on location. The parts snap out and slot into a rigid structure without the need for glue or screws.
