Thank you all for your comments!

Thank you all sooo much for your encouraging comments in my last post. Muaks! I really appreciate the time you all gave to give such constructive comments! It is really helpful and I hope to feed some of your thoughts and ideas into the next series of patterns I am working on.

Meanwhile, just thought I would have a little bit of fun photoshopping some of the patterns into possible applications. While I initially felt that these patterns will be suitable for stationary and home accessories, I actually think they might make a cute apron or tote.

above: It's a cushion cover! I am imagining that the circles to be in velvet with some extrusion from the white flower motifs to give the surface a little more dimension here. (original image from here *runner up of the domino decorative contest*)

above: It's a wallpaper! (original image from here)

afternote: the flower motifs for the wallpaper could be a little bit smaller and textured.
above: It's an apron! Cotton canvas, maybe? (image from here) above: It's a tote! I am imagining the pattern to be on silk or cotton sateen. (original image from here)

hi. I have been reading your blog and love it!

congrats on posting your own design. It's very brave and smart to do so.
I am drawn to the 2nd color design on your previous post. It just looks so vibrant and exciting! and love the pattern on the girl's apron. personally, I felt for the wallpaper, you could go a little smaller on the size. but it would definetely work esp with single color accent pieces. the shapes of the bags are so cool.

have fun~

Thanks Agrasshopper. Yes, I agree that the motif on the wallpaper could be a little smaller. It occured to me when I saw it again this morning. =)

Of course you shall post your Lovely patterns. This looks great! The bag with the contrasting fabrics is beautiful and I love that the lotus has different sizes.

Hello laissezfaire. Thanks so much for your comment on AphroChic. I really love that wallpaper. I think that would just make a room really pop. The bags are beautiful too. Isn't photoshop a godsend? I can't wait to see what else you come up with.

Wow! I, too, love the wallpaper, and the apron on the little girl! So much fun! I feel like the bag needs something else. I'm not sure what, though. Everything else looks great!

I like the tote, it is unique, but even as present paper will be nice. Keep it up. btw, my retail outlet logo is lotus, so it be suitable. Cheers. anna
