Sweatpea and Willow

More exquisite furniture links to share, this time from London-based furniture company, Sweetpea and Willow. Here, you can find the most gorgeous classic French reproduction furniture at relatively affordable prices.

From the look of their new website, they seem to place a huge emphasis on customer support which is always important for online purchase like this when you are spending quite a fair bit without really getting to see and touch the products for yourself. What's more, they ship to almost anywhere in the world! Tempting....very tempting. Do check them out!

Quirky sweet shop

These are some pics of a quirky sweet shop in Covent Garden. This is the way I always imagined a candy store should look like. The shop can be hired by the hour or closed for a full day for photoshoots. I just love the colours and glass jar displays at the back.

Egg3's newest outlet in Singapore

I just got an email today from Egg3, one of my favourite fashion and home accessories store in Singapore. They are opening a new outlet at 260 Joo Chiat Road! This new nest will continue to house Egg3's eclectic and quirky mix of new Asian fusion style, housing a cafe, art gallery, fashion collections, home accessories and designer furniture, all under one roof. Do check them out as they celebrate their new opening over the National Day holiday tomorrow (Aug 9th). Happy Birthday Singapore!

Bowerbird

If you are looking for a stylish gift or something special for your home, do check out Bowerbird, a exciting new home and giftware boutique that just opened recently in Holland Village (Singapore). This shop stocks products handpicked by owner Anna Miles, who travels the globe in search of exciting new items. The feeling of the shop is decadence and high fashion with an eclectic twist. It includes items such as high fashion crockery, designer cushions and unique lighting by designers such as the legendary Florence Broadhurst (whose gorgeous wallpapers and fabrics I mentioned in a previous post), Christoper Vine, Tabitha and Anna Chandler.

Bowerbird is now offering Laissezfaire blog readers 10% off all purchases made in the month of August. Just mention Laissezfaire to the lady at the checkout counter to get your discount. Thanks Anna!

Het grote Avontuur

I learnt about this great store in Amsterdam, Het grote Avontuur (The Big Adventure), via Bloesem. Most of the unique products they carry are handmade by small businesses all over the world. Here are some cool products plucked from their online store.

(above) Pattern roller. I have used roller stamps like this before for craft projects but never knew they had them for walls!
(above) Butterfly paper cuttings for the wall decal lovers.

(above) Sadle cover to cover your bike like they do in India. Brilliant! Makes me want to get a bike to use the sadle cover.

Caravan

Wonderful pieces from east London shop, Caravan. This shop, described as floral/vintage/bohemian, grew out of owner Emily Chalmers passions for fashion and home. The sources of her style can be traced back to her childhood where she grew up surrounded by textiles as her mother was a seamstress. Emily's eclectic home in Shoreditch was recently featured in June's Elle Decor, UK edition. Very beautifully done up. I will scan the pages and post it on my blog soon.
