Same here. Leaving it was very emotional. Even though I made the right decision to quit at the time, all these years later I am wistful. I have taken my daughter to watch many ballets and at every single one I have to wipe away at least a tear or two. Alas, she loves gymnastics, not ballet! Perhaps that is for the best.
These are such beautiful photos. I too have a deep love for ballet. I just started back up after a 7 year break. It makes me so happy to be dancing again, but it also makes me mad that I waited so long to get back into it after having danced for nearly 11 years.
I love getting to know people and the creative work that is being produced round the world through this blog. If you have anything interesting that you would like to share with our readers, or would just like to say hi, do contact me HERE! Would love to hear from you! Su Ling

What beautiful images! I am with you--I too miss ballet, oh so much. But looking at these photos makes me happy.
