Turn your books into an art installation
This is a cool way to turn your collection of books into an art installation. Not sure if it will make it easier to locate your books but at least it looks nice. (via How about Orange and craftzine) I also like how ninahale turned her ironing board into a bookshelf for red books in the dining room by powder coating it red.

i organized my bookshelves by colour and now whenever people come over they think i'm completely insane.
The idea really appeals to me, only it must be a bit stressful looking for a book and having to remember the colour of the spine before you start!

I did this too and people always look at it and think I am crazy... I think it looks nice though!! :)
I just did it to half my bookslast night. Was fun but I am now aching from the work out!
